In the event of death, any money deposited into a Raisin UK Account or savings account administered by a partner bank may be released by emailing our Customer Service Team and attaching a scan or a photo of the deceased's Death Certificate. A member of our team will then be able to advise of any further documents required.
Please be aware that we can only speak to an administrator or probate of the deceased’s estate. We cannot share any information about the deceased’s accounts until their status as an administrator or probate has been verified.
Once you have provided the appropriate evidence, we will share the documents that you send us with the relevant parties, which may include Starling Bank and any partner banks which the deceased had transferred funds to.
As part of this process, all funds will be sent to the administrator/probate's bank or building society account. Once this process has been completed, the accounts in which the deceased’s funds were held will be closed.
