When you apply for a savings account via Raisin UK, your identity needs to be verified through AML and KYC checks by our partner banks and/or our deposit administrator. If they are unable to successfully verify your identity during these checks, your savings account application will be rejected. Unfortunately, neither Raisin UK nor our partner banks/deposit administrator are able to give you any specific reasons for the rejection. Please note that a rejected application through the Raisin UK platform does not affect your credit score.
The checks carried out vary from bank to bank, so this does not necessarily mean that all savings account applications via Raisin UK would be unsuccessful.
