Some banks on the Raisin UK marketplace offer a cooling-off period of 14 days, whereby you have the right to cancel your savings account within 14 calendar days from the date your account was confirmed as opened. Please check your Product Information Sheet in case this is applicable.
You can do this by logging in to your Raisin UK Account, navigating to the relevant savings account (under ‘My savings’) and cancelling your order. Please check your product information sheet for more details.
If you have not yet finished funding your fixed rate bond, and the bank amends the rate advertised to a lower rate than the one you originally ordered, you will have 14 days to cancel your application. In this case, your original deposit amount will be returned to your Transaction Account within two business days.
